Things to do in Paris

So are you here for a weekend or a week? Holiday or business trip? either way, you might struggle with choosing your time wisely in Paris. There are loads of things to do so you certainly won’t be stuck for choice.

Whether you’re here for a week or a weekend, choosing how to spend time in Paris can seem overwhelming. But not to worry if you keep reading this post you’ll clock the best places to visit in no time!

Paris is brilliant, its known as this romantic location, business location, classy, cool… it goes by many names and has many faces but what are the best things to do?


Well, one of the biggest attractions is the Musée d’Orsay. The Musée d’Orsay is a museum in France which displays mainly French Art like paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography. It’s housed under one of the most beautiful Beaux-Arts train stations you’ll see.

Luxembourg Gardens are pretty amazing!

The Louvre is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Paris. It’s said to be one of the world most amazing art museums in the world.


Highstreet Shopping!

If you’re an outdoors sort of person you will absolutely love Palais-Royal Gardens. The Palais Royal was built for royalty but is now home to some world-class perfumers, antiquaries and designer boutiques.

Avenue des Champs Elysées is a great place to go as you’ll find almost anything. Mcdonalds, cds, books, fashion and more.

If your taste is a bit more acquired. You’ll be able to find some amazing boutiques and designer brands at Rue Saint-Honore.

The Rue de Rivoli is one of the longest streets in Paris but its one of my favourites! There are loads of little shops with some of the most fashion fashionable names in the world housed in them. If you’re looking for a keepsake then you’ll pick some up here.


Paris is well known for the best food city in Europe. La Chambre Oiseaux is a fantastic place to go to for brunch! It’s a tad expensive but it’ll be worth it! Jiaozi at Raviolis Chinois Nord-Est is great. If you’re a pastry lover then you’ve got to go to La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac. 


Wanderlust has been opened since 2012 and has been mixing music, making food and everything else from Yoga to being a cinema! It’s a unique little venue that’s worth checking out!

Nuits Fauves is the brand new club on the scene and opened up recently in 2016. It’s located near Wanderlust at the Les Docks so if one doesn’t tickle your fancy the other ones right around the corner.
