Opened in 1931, The Imperial Hotel was New Delhi‘s first luxury hotel, setting the standard high for the many that followed. The 24 king palm trees that lead to the front porch of the hotel are an iconic part of the picture of The Imperial, and the plan for the hotel was to integrate Victorian, colonial, and art deco styles in the design.
The Imperial houses 233 rooms, including 43 suites that offer views into the vast gardens on its grounds. The rooms range from about 250 square feet (Deco Room) to the 3,000 square feet of the Royal Imperial Suite. The cheapest room in The Imperial begins at about 15,000 Indian Rupees (about $295 USD). A night in the Royal Imperial Suite will cost you upwards of about 200,000 INR (about $3,938 USD).
There are several restaurants and two exceptional bars at The Imperial. The Spice Route serves South-East Asian cuisine and has been named one of the top ten restaurants in the world by Conde Nast Traveler. Other restaurants offer Italian, pan-Indian and a variety of other cuisines to guests.

The LaLiT
The LaLiT Delhi hotel is a luxury business hotel located in the heart of bustling New Delhi. The LaLiT has 461 options in terms of rooms and suites, with accommodations ranging from 432 square feet to 3016 square feet in size. All rooms have wi-fi access and offer breakfast.

The Oberoi In New Delhi is a luxury business hotel that offers the things you’d want while stay at a leisure hotel. All rooms at The Oberoi New Delhi come with the usual amenities, including wireless internet access, but all 300 rooms and suites also come with personal butler service. Room sizes range from the Deluxe Room’s bed, desk and chair, to the Kohinoor Suite that consists of a living room, study, master bedroom, master bathroom, private living room, dressing area, and dining room. Depending on when you are planning to stay there and the size of the room you are planning to stay in, one night at The Oberoi can cost you beginning at 14,000 INR ($275 USD).
Threesixty, the all day dining restaurant, has a wide array of food. From sushi, to the grill, to a wood fired oven, the offerings at Threesixty appeal to a variety of pallets. The restaurant is open until 1 a.m., making it a good late-night option. There are also Italian and Chinese dining options, but perhaps most notably, The Oberoi offers 24 hour room and butler service, meaning you don’t have to leave your room if you have a late night of work coming up.
